About Me

I am an artist, a surface pattern designer, a mom, and a former middle/high school art teacher. My mission is to bring color, beauty, and style into people's lives. I love designs that feature a pop of bright color, a vintage feel, and often an unexpected quirky element. I think of my designs and my art as a colorful accessory to your home and life. Like adding a funky earring with a little black dress or that cool patterned sneaker with your leggings and T-shirt outfit, my designs add sparkle and whimsy to your personal style. 

I have worked with a variety of media throughout my artistic career, from large scale figure paintings to block printing, but I have fallen in love with surface pattern design as it lets me combine my knowledge of traditional art media with my love of digital art. 

I derive inspiration from vintage style, the world around me, and the ocean. I currently live in my hometown of West Hartford Connecticut with my husband, our 10 year twins and our Golden Doodle Ruth Bader Ginsburg, but I try to spend as much time as I can at the beach in Wellfleet, MA because I feel most and home and grounded near the ocean. 

Along with my love of art I am also passionate about wellness, cooking, fitness, and entertaining.  I'm currently attempting to be a 75% vegan, while working on my portfolio with the hope of becoming a licensed artist within the next year.
